LOINC version 2.68 & RELMA 7.1 are now available for download from the LOINC website. This release contains lots of new content and feature updates.

Here are just a few details on some of these exciting new updates that you may want to follow-up on:

• LOINC License 5.0 updates
• The Numbers: 1231 new terms and 3245 term edits
• New content highlights include SARS-CoV-2/ COVID -19 terms as well as other laboratory and clinical terms

In addition, LOINC has announced the launch of the LOINC Knowledge base. This new feature is incorporated into the LOINC website functionality and includes educational resources that until now were only available in PDF or other formats that were not broadly searchable. Be sure to take a look and browse through the content.
