Welcome to the Infoway IHE Community forum. There is a great deal of exciting work going on in the IHE community in Canada and around the world. Canadians are involved at all levels of the IHE process, including profile development, product development, integration, connectathon testing, and of course, adoption! I'm excited about how this forum will facilitate collaboration among the Canadian IHE community.

This forum is all about sharing and learning from each other's experiences. Please share what you can about your experiences with implementing IHE in Canada, including what profiles you have worked on, and in what Provinces - creating an ongoing survey that could become a "Canadian IHE Dashboard".

Of course to go along with the "which profiles" and "where" described above, what we really want to know are the lessons learned while working on these implementations and the resources that you have found to be critical for successful implementations.

This forum is also the perfect place to discuss and inform on matters related to certifications, as well as other HIMSS activities in Canada. Anything learned through Infoway's IHE Board participation will be relayed through this forum.

We plan to keep a current calendar of events including international connectathons of course, but also please be sure to document any local events you may come across. We also plan to offer a variety of webinars on various topics in the IHE world so please keep an eye out for those. If there are topics of interest to you, please speak up and make a request and we will see what we can do.
