2. Presentation – Alberta Health Services BC – Inclusive EMRs in Action: AHS, SOGIE Tools and the Full Patient Experience in Connect Care
Marni Panas provided an overview of AHS and a summary and key rationale for inclusive design of the Alberta Epic implementation, including a smart form, organ inventory, used/chosen name and prominence, gender identity, and the plan for education and training via eLearning modules. Marni looking into what she can share with the SGWG.

A range of questions were raised by the group that covered topics including sex at birth, privacy and confidentiality, gender identity, data quality, and others.

CIHR Stakeholder Consultation Session topics and schedule reviewed. WG schedule and presentations reviewed.
