For those of you who don't know, DevDays is a conference that we hold twice a year focused on the FHIR developer community. It started in Amsterdam (where this November we'll have our 6th conference) and a couple of years ago, we started holding them in June in the U.S. The event includes huge number of cutting edge educational sessions, various key-notes, opportunities for patients, start-ups and students to get involved and lots of opportunities for socializing, meeting others in the community and hands-on interoperability.
Covid 19 has created lots of problems, but one positive is that it's pushing many conferences to run online - which in turn makes it much more feasible for people from all over to attend. No need to book travel, no need to even book off the full day from work. And if you need to skip out for an urgent meeting, that's much more feasible. The event runs from June 15-18 (Mon-Thur) from 11-5 Eastern. Cost for HL7 members is $700 US. If you're wanting to get up to speed with everything that's happening in the FHIR world, DevDays is one of the best ways to do it. Information about the conference is here: https://www.devdays.com/us A post from Grahame Grieve talking about the conference is here: http://www.healthintersections.com.au/?p=3037 |
