Dear EI community,

I know that many of you are interested in the work that both DICOM and HL7 International are doing on defining sex and gender.

I just wanted to take a moment and bring to your attention that Dr. Francis Lau and Dr. Nathan Lachowsky launched the Canadian Sex and Gender Working group on InfoCentral today.

The work group is open to anyone who would like to participate: https://infocentral.infoway-inforoute.ca/en/wg/sex-gender

The initial meeting had representation from all over Canada.
