The HIMMS-SIIM Data Standardization Working Group has developed a survey targeted at clinical users as a means of understanding requirements and needs for identifying a standard ontology across multiple clinical domains. Please share the survey link below with any clinical users that you feel would be interested in providing their feedback:
https://surveys.himss.org/checkbox/Survey.aspx?s=858b18b8d8c044a39c2c4aad68b7be09 Your participation in this short survey will help shape recommendations to industry and clinical care bodies on how body part and anatomic region is encoded in imaging data and supported in the systems you use for clinical care. Created by the HIMSS-SIIM Data Standards Evaluation Workgroup, our goal is to analyze your anonymous input, and existing standards, to prepare recommendations by February 2020 that will be published jointly by the HIMSS-SIIM Enterprise Imaging Community. The HIMSS-SIIM Enterprise Imaging Community provides an effective point of connection for clinicians and IT professionals to engage in the advancement of the enterprise imaging strategies. The community open to individuals with membership in HIMSS or SIIM, including but not limited to Clinical Informaticists, Radiologists, Cardiologists, Imaging Vendors, IT Professionals, Certified Imaging Informatics Professionals and those interested in the broader specialty of Enterprise Imaging. To learn more, visit the HIMSS and SIIM website. Survey closes on December 16, 2019. |
