Dear Members of DICOM Community For your summary information - below are the decisions on the CPs and Supplements that were made during the September 10-14 meeting of DICOM WG-06 Base Standard. The DSC (DICOM Standard Committee) Members have received Letter Ballots – ALL DSC MEMBERS, PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR VOTES! Change Proposals (CPs): CPack-97- Ballot passed. The following 11 CP’s were approved for Final Text: 1700, 1719, 1720, 1738, 1763, 1778, 1780, 1781, 1782, 1783, and 1784. CPack-98- Letter Ballot: Deadline: Monday, November 5, 2018. CPack-99-Candidates for November Voting Package: 1626, 1674, 1714, 1736 , 1764, 1779, 1793, 1797, 1807, 1810, 1811, 1812, 1813 , 1814, 1815, 1816, 1817, 1818, 1819, 1820, 1821, 1822, 1823, 1824,1825, 1826, 1827, 1828, 1829,1830, 1833, 1834, 1836, 1837, 1838, 1840 CP-1850 Change old RT-style SNOMED IDs to CT-style Concept IDs – It is been distributed for Public Comment. Deadline: Friday, January 4, 2018. ATTENTION: This Change Proposal may have a significant impact on your implementations. The DICOM Standard Committee is circulating this CP for special public comment due to its scope and content. Please read the rationale section of the CP carefully. We encourage commenters to perform risk assessments (an example is shown in the rationale) and communicate the results back to the Committee. The more detail you provide (specific codes, specific consequences) the better we will be able to help mitigate those risks. Supplements (Sups): Supplement 188 Multi-energy-CT-Images – Deadline: Wednesday, November 7, 2018 Supplement 206 CRYPTREC TLS Profile – Deadline: Wednesday, November 7, 2018 Final Text CPs and Supplements become part of the DICOM Standard, upon approval by WG-06 Base Standard. WG-06 Decisions/Actions September 10-14 meeting Supplement 147 [Second Generation Radiotherapy - Prescription and Segment Annotation] - It was not approved for Final Text. A 2-hour t-con for will be scheduled for a final approval during the week of October 15th of 2018. Supplement 164 [Contrast Administration Reporting ] – It was not approved for Final Text. It will return for another final review in November of 2018. Supplement 183 [PS3.18 Web Services Re-Documentation] - It was not approved for Letter Ballot. It will return for another letter ballot review in November of 2018 Supplement 188 [Multi-energy CT Images]- It was approved for Letter Ballot. Deadline: Wednesday, November 7, 2018. Next milestone for Sup 188 is a review for Final Text in January of 2019. Supplement 202 [Real Time Video] - It was not approved for Letter Ballot. It will return for another letter ballot review in November of 2018. Supplement 206 [CRYPTREC TLS Profile]- It was approved for Letter Ballot. Deadline: Wednesday, November 7, 2018. Next milestone for Sup 206 is a review for Final Text in November of 2018. Please note that the DICOM NEWS will be updated soon: https://www.dicomstandard.org/news/ Copies of draft supplements in development are posted in the ‘meeting folders’ of each WG-06 meeting when discussed.
