TOPIC: Request to identify all LOINC laboratory terms for SARS-CoV-2 in use across Canada

Request to identify all LOINC laboratory terms for SARS-CoV-2 in use across Canada 5 years 1 month ago #5843

We are in search of identifying the list of Laboratory LOINC codes that are being used by Canadian implementers for COVID-19 testing. We need your help to inform us of which Lab LOINC terms are in use for SARS-CoV-2 for the purpose of inclusion for July 2020 pCLOCD release.

Ontario was amongst the first jurisdiction to request SARS-CoV-2 codes, they have since been approved and created by LOINC. These ‘Special Use’ pre-release terms are available on the pre-release LOINC terms page, as well as in the Preview Scope of Next pCLOCD page. These terms will be published in the June 2020 LOINC release, and in the July 2020 pCLOCD release.

We recognize that LOINC continues to develop SARS-CoV-2 LOINC terms, and we want to ensure that all of these related terms being used across Canada are added to the July 2020 pCLOCD in order help all of our Canadian implementers when updating your systems to the next pCLOCD release.

Please identify all LOINC codes being used for SARS-CoV-2 that are not yet in the Preview Scope of Next pCLOCD page by submitting a Request for Change via Infoway’s Request Management System.
