Hi everyone -- I hope we are all enjoying the last weeks of summer.
![]() IHE International has made a call for nominations to join the organization's board and serve a 2-year term as a member-at-large. There are 3 positions open and the nomination process closes Friday, August 30th. The full text of the call is included below: Call for Nominations: IHE International Board Member At-Large The IHE International Board hereby invites nominations to fill openings for three at-large representatives to the Board. The election for these positions will be by a vote of IHE International Member Organizations, to be conducted via email. The term of service is two years. Nominations (including self-nominations) are invited from now until Friday, August 30 (5pm CT), and should be submitted via the 2019 IHE Int'l Board At-Large Call for Nominations Form. The activities of the Board and responsibilities of Board members are described in the IHE Principles of Governance IHE Principles of Governance. Nominees must be representatives of active IHE member organizations (See current list of active member organizations). Only one voting member is allowed to represent any given IHE member organization on the Board, thus only one nominee from any member organization and only nominees from organizations not currently represented on the Board will be included in the slate of at-large candidates. The slate of candidates will be announced Tuesday, September 3 and balloting will run through Friday, September 13, 2019. Each member organization will be eligible to cast a vote in the election for these positions. The at-large representatives whose current terms are ending are Andries Hamster (Forcare) and Daniel Berezeanu (Interop IT Inc.). Both candidates are eligible for another term. The Board thanks both members for their dedicated service. Best regards, Chris Carr Secretary, IHE International Board |
