Health Information Standards Committee of Alberta (HISCA) requests stakeholders to review and provide feedback on our AEFI standard. As part of the HISCA process, a review is open for public review once a standard reaches the status of “Accepted in Draft.”
Interested stakeholders are invited to review the specifications below and provide feedback using the feedback log spreadsheet by the closing date. The Alberta Adverse Events Following Immunization (AEFI) Messaging Specification consists of: ◾ Alberta-specific versions of AEFI reporting use our custom application. Note that Alberta Health does not use the Infoway Panorama data model or application. ◾The specification is for use within Alberta to report AEFI events to Alberta Health before reporting to the Public Health Agency of Canada.
