TOPIC: The April 2018 Subset Release is now available

The April 2018 Subset Release is now available 7 years 2 weeks ago #3921

Infoway is pleased to announce the release of various subsets in support of stakeholder implementation requests. This release is aligned with the latest versions of the various reference terminologies used in each subset.

The updated subsets contain content requested by Canadian implementers in the following areas of interest:
• Tracking, reporting and monitoring of Communicable Diseases
• Recording of Immunizations by Public Health Agencies across the country, First Nations communities and in the CAN Immunize mobile app
• Support of the Primary Health Care Content Standard to enable the comparison of population health trends and informs health system planning and evaluation
• Provider Registry tracking of Health Care Provider Roles

A number of subsets were inactivated and deprecated in this release. There were also a number of subsets that were re-activated in this release due to stakeholder requests.

The Terminology Gateway provides access to the subsets in their various human readable and computable formats and their change logs.

The Release Notes that support this work are being published as part of a pilot project and can be found on InfoScribe. We welcome your comments and suggestions on this new trial process.

Please join us on May 2, 2018 for an interactive presentation to learn more about the importance of this release to interoperability.
