Please see updates below from DICOM regarding last week's Standard meeting. thank you, Dear DICOM Community Here is a quick summary of last week’s WG-06 Base Standard meeting. Change Proposals (CPs): CPack-99- Ballot passed [36 CPs] • The following CPs were approved for Final Text: 1626, 1674, 1714, 1736 , 1764, 1779, 1793, 1797, 1807, 1810, 1811, 1812, 1813 , 1814, 1815, 1816, 1817, 1818, 1819, 1820, 1821, 1822, 1823, 1824,1825, 1826, 1827, 1828, 1829,1830, 1833, 1834, 1836, 1837, 1838, 1840 CPack-100- Letter Ballot [18 CPs] • The following CPs will be distributed for balloting this week 1551, 1552, 1766, 1770, 1835, 1841, 1842, 1843, 1844, 1845, 1846, 1847, 1848, 1849, 1850, 1851, 1853,1855 March 2019 Voting Package: • The following CPs are candidates for the March 2019 Voting Package: 1839, 1854, 1856, 1857, 1858, 1859, 1860,1864, 1865, 1866, 1867, 1875 ATTENTION: Please note that CP-1850 Change old RT-style SNOMED IDs to CT-style Concept IDs will be out for ballot in CPack-100 this week. Once again, we encourage you to vote and submit comments on this CP because it may have a significant impact on your implementations. Please read the rationale section of the CP carefully. We encourage commenters to perform risk assessments (an example is shown in the rationale) and communicate the results back to the Committee. The more detail you provide (specific codes, specific consequences) the better we will be able to help mitigate those risks. WG-06 Decisions/Actions January 7-10, 2019 Supplement XXX [XA Protocol Storage] – It had first read. It received a number “212” .The editor of the Supplement received necessary feedback and will continue to work on it with DICOM WG-02 Projection Radiography and Angiography. It will return for another review in June of 2019. Supplement XXX [ Enhanced RT Image ] – It had first read. It received a number “213”. The editor of the Supplement received necessary feedback and will continue to work on it with DICOM WG-07 Radiotherapy. Supplement 175 [2nd Gen. C-arm RT Treatment] – It was approved for Letter Ballot. The next milestone is Final Text. It will return for the next review in March of 2019. Supplement 183 [PS3.18 Web Services Re-Documentation] - It was partially reviewed for Final Text. It will return for another review in March of 2019. Supplement 202 [Real Time Video] - It was partially reviewed for letter ballot. It will return for another review in March of 2019. Supplement 211 [DICOMWEB Support for Retrieve via Application/ Zip]- It was reviewed. The editor of the Supplement received necessary feedback and will continue to work on it with DICOM WG-27 Web Technologies. It will return for another review in March of 2019. Please note that the DICOM NEWS will be updated soon: https://www.dicomstandard.org/news/ Copies of draft supplements in development are posted in the ‘meeting folders’ of each WG-06 meeting when discussed.
