The new release can be accessed from the SNOMED CT Standards page or directly from the Terminology Gateway.The October 2016 version, which is aligned with the July 2016 release of SNOMED CT International, includes new content related to Immunization and Diagnostic Imaging.
Release Notes and Read Me files are included and should be consulted prior to using the content of this release. The standard is available in IHTSDO RF2 format. There are two (2) artefacts published in this release: • The Canadian Edition identified as SnomedCT_Canadian_Edition_Release_20161031.zip • The Canadian Extension identified as SnomedCT_Canadian_Extension_Release_20161031.zip Infoway will be hosting two Webinars to review the content of the release: • November 9, 2016 on the SNOMED CT Community (Canadian Extension/Edition) • November 22, 2016 on the PHS community (focus on the Immunization Refsets) If you would like to request the addition of a concept or make a change or correction to an existing concept, please use the RFC tool InfoRMS.
